In detail

The full rules,
without the legalese.

Content standards

Your menus must accurately represent a real, operating food or beverage business. Prices shown must match what customers are actually charged. Images must reflect the actual dish or product. Content must comply with all applicable local laws, including food safety labelling requirements where relevant.

Platform integrity

Do not attempt to probe, scan, or test for security vulnerabilities without written authorisation from Felmenu. Do not use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or overburden our systems — including high-frequency automated requests, denial-of-service attacks, or sending traffic through anonymising proxies to circumvent rate limits.

Account responsibility

One account represents one business or individual. You may not share login credentials with people outside your direct team, sell access to your account, or create multiple free accounts to work around plan limits. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorised it.

Third-party intellectual property

You must hold the rights to any photos, logos, or copyrighted material you upload. Do not upload content you do not own or have explicit permission to use. Felmenu will respond to valid copyright takedown notices and may remove content without prior notice when legally required.

Diner experience

Your diners scan your QR and expect a menu. Do not redirect your menu URL to content unrelated to your food business, inject affiliate links into your menu, or use the public menu page to harvest diner information. We don't put trackers on your diners — you shouldn't either.

Enforcement

What happens when
rules are broken.

First violation

Written warning

We'll send a clear email describing the violation and what needs to change. You have 7 days to correct the issue before further action is taken. Most cases end here.

Repeated violation

Temporary suspension

Repeated or uncorrected violations result in a temporary account suspension of 24–72 hours. Your menus go offline during this period. You can appeal by replying to the suspension email.

Severe or persistent violation

Permanent termination

Severe violations — fraud, illegal content, infrastructure attacks — result in immediate permanent termination without prior warning. Refunds are not issued for terminated accounts. Felmenu may refer cases to relevant authorities.
